I'm Ryan J. Basten, a lifelong Ulster County resident with roots in Marbletown dating back to the 1600's. Growing up on the family farm, I learned the value of legacy, hard work and commitment. I watched my parents and grandparents approach every task with care and purpose, and I learned about honest dealings and respect. These principles guide how I do business today.
The red truck in our logo honors this legacy. I learned to drive stick on that 1960 Chevy C10 Apache, scraping some barns along the way. In 1996, my grandfather sold that truck to Eddie Croswell, an established businessman down the road. He tirelessly restored that truck to a new, red glory and it now sits proudly in his garage, still a testament to hard work, care and respect. The truck is my reminder to be bold yet humble, and always strive for excellence in business and life.
Today, I’m passionate about making the most of our resources, both natural and manufactured, by recycling and repurposing whenever possible. At RJB Cleanouts, I bring this passion and responsibility to every job and interaction.
